Big Wave’s latest documentary airs tonight on BBC 2 at 8:00pm.
THE WOMAN WHO SWIMS WITH KILLER WHALES was pick of the day in the weekend’s Radio Times, Guardian Guide and Sunday Time Culture magazines.
‘Eight yards long, six tons in weight and with gnashers to match, the orca, or killer whale, would deter most swimmers from taking a dip, but to the New Zealand conservationist Ingrid Visser they are her bread and butter. Mark Woodward’s absorbing and touching film follows her alternately playful and serious relationships with these magnificent yet endangered creatures.
