Dmitri is a twenty five year old European brown bear. He has been forced to dance in the Greek streets of Thessaloniki all his life. Now, crippled by arthritis, he is no longer any use to his gypsy owners and kept chained twenty four hours a day. Last of the Dancing Bears follows the work of the World Society for Protection of Animals to rescue Europe's dancing bears.
