Dolphins of Shark Bay

In a revelatory new insight into the lives of wild dolphins, biologist Janet Mann follows six remarkable months in the life of the ‘Beachies’ clan: a family of 6 dolphins led by mother to be, ‘Puck’. Using the latest miniature camera to eavesdrop on the ‘Beachies’ underwater lives, the story follows the life and times of Puck and her newborn calf, ‘Samu’ who live in the shark-infested waters of Western Australia’s, Shark Bay. With over 50% of newborns taken by sharks, Puck faces the ultimate challenge of motherhood as she battles to keep Samu safe and teach him the skills to survive.
