SUN STORM

1 hour CGI science special for Curiosity Strand

Our star, the sun, gives us light and heat but it also has a dark side. Storm Season has started on it’s boiling surface, and this spells danger for us on Earth. Scientists are expecting a storm bigger than anything in recent history… a Super Storm with the strength to shut down our electric grid, black out communications, and fry the satellite technology that governs our daily lives. Curiosity asks why?... Using ground-breaking CGI, Curiosity reveals the sun as never before, goes on a expedition to the very heart of our star, and tracks a destructive Sun Storm from birth to impact Earth.
